Reality isn’t always pretty. Neither is the truth.
DIRTFRAME is an independent journalism and documentary outlet exploring the raw, uncomfortable and often overlooked realities of our world. From forgotten towns and struggling communities to underground cultures, hidden industries, environmental destruction and the darker corners of society, we go looking for stories that deserve to be seen.
We believe journalism belongs out in the world, not behind a desk. On the streets, inside communities, asking difficult questions and documenting life as it actually happens. No glossy narratives. No manufactured outrage. No convenient edits to make reality more comfortable.
Just original reporting, immersive documentaries, firsthand experiences and stories with dirt still on them. Real places. Real people. Unvarnished reality.
How we work
- We go there. Every story starts on the ground, with the people it’s about.
- We don’t clean it up. We cut for clarity and length, never to change what happened.
- We protect sources. If someone needs to stay anonymous, they stay anonymous.
- We correct mistakes in the open. Spotted one? Tell us and we’ll fix it, with a note saying what changed.
Who’s behind My Blog
My Blog is published by Community News Worldwide CIC, and is part of a network of independent journalism and documentary channels. Advertising on this site helps pay for travel, kit and the long hours of editing, and never decides what we cover.
